Being Ready For Jesus Return

The blessed Son of God Jesus was rejected while on earth by his own; the One that  loves mankind so dearly was crucified on a cruel  cross for you and for me.  Having gloriously accomplished His mission to bear the sins of the world, God raised him from the dead.   2000 years ago, before His death and resurrection he promised to come again.  He prophesied the dark sinful state of the world at the time he would return.  Reading His words of these ‘latter days’ in Holy scripture is like reading our newspapers because the earth is so full of evil, sin, fear and violence.  While on earth he told us that the Son of man will come at such an hour as you do not think.   When he returns he will come to take his own beloved followers to be with him  and to bring judgement to everyone who  lives in sin, unrighteousness and unbelief. The question today is  – are you looking for Jesus  glorious appearing or are you lost and have a destiny of an eternity of hell; a hell that God never made for man but that was intend for satan and his fallen angels!

Living The Life Of Jesus

In “Take them To Heaven” broadcast 30-06–24. Pastor Adedayo speaks of the blessings of living a life of destiny in fellowship with Christ . God graciously gives His spirit tho those who place their faith in Christ so that they are more and more living the life of Jesus. The alternative to being “in Christ” is to loose everything for all eternity in hell. Messenger Marcus introduces this sermon.

Jesus Gives Life More Abundantly

Satan offers transitory pleasures that are like the crackling and consuming of wood under a pot, but living the life of Jesus gives life more abundantly, (John 10:10) .  Satan offers quickly passing pleasures that thrill for a very short while – and then becomes tragically sour.  Our lord Jesus told us that real life, satisfying life and abundant life is only found in Him who is the great shepherd of the sheep. ( Hebrews 13:10).  The lord Jesus is a giving God who wants us to receive the very, very best of heaven’s blessing even in this life.  Yes, real life is in Jesus! The scripture tells us that ” in him is life and this life is the light of men”,, (John 1:4) . 

The Real Divine Life

There are various Greek words in the original language of the Bible which means life.  The Greek word ‘ psyche‘ is one word that it is used for psychological life. Then there is another word called ‘ bios’ and this corresponds to the life of biology; the animal life – the life that we live naturally in our bodies . But the real divine life that Jesus came to offer is denoted in the scriptures by the Greek word ‘Zoe‘, which means the highest divine life. This is the blessed eternal life of Almighty God ; the life of God which blessed forever and ever and which can never be extinguished or suffer decay.  This divine life zoe regulates mans psychological thought life and our bodily life and strengthens it. As we pass through this present world and throughout all eternity that divine life will be everything that we need. The wonderful life of Jesus Christ our savior.  The Divine life of the Lord Jesus Christ, our great physician,  comes to us in salvation. When we are born again this divine life enters us (John 10:10 ). The Lord ( as recorded in this scripture in John) contrast this life to the terrible destructive death that Satan offers us. 

Without Christ the human race in its entirety it heading for destruction and to eternal hell.   We thank God that our Lord Jesus Christ came to rescue those that are perishing and to save them to the utmost.

A Life Of Progress

The Divine life that we receive from the Lord Jesus is a life of progress.  Those that possess the Divine life gaze intently on Jesus and move from one degree of Glory to another .

2 Cor 3:19 – But we all, with unveiled faces, looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

Those with eyes and heart looking on Jesus also graduate from faith to faith, ( Rom 1:17). Those who do not have Christ and are controlled by Satan are subject to decay and death and final destruction and dissolution. We thank God for the Divine life that the Lord Jesus came to bring us a life that will carry on for all eternal ages.

 This divine  life is itself immortal. “He that liveth,” says Christ, “and believeth on me shall never die”, (John 11: 26).  The future of those living a life now in Christ will go on gloriously throughout eternity.  The scriptures tell us …….

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him, but God has revealed them to us through His Spirit., (1 Cor 2:9, 10)

A truly bright futures with those who are in Christ the scripture also  tells us that … …..”The path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.,
( Prov 4:18)
