Evangelist Messenger Marcus preached this sermon at the Diamond Centre, Sprowston, Norwich UK on 23-10-2022. This message is set forth to instruct the people of God the principles of God’s Word on How to pray to God and get answers.
SPIRITUAL PRAYERS
The Word of God gives us many exhortations, examples and principles to the praying of spiritual prayers. The gracious Holy Spirit is also present to enable every individual servant as well as every local church gathering of our Lord Jesus Christ to pray spiritual prayers that will shake nations for God and establish Christ’s dominion over unrighteousness.
FRESH FIRE PRAYER MINISTRIES
As individuals as well as the corporate local church we should always seek for fresh fire ministries from the Holy Spirit. Our lives and ministries need to be soaked in new power every day. We can all get filled up with the Holy Spirit but we need a continual filling because everyone of us leaks; we need to be refilled daily even hourly with fire from the Holy Spirit!
We read in Acts Chapter 4 that when the disciples were being persecuted and were in danger they pray boldly full stop and this is the prayer that the disciples who where full of scripture, full of purpose and full of life and Faith prayed.
Acts 4: 24(b) -All the believers lifted their voices together in prayer to God: “O Sovereign Lord, Creator of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them—25 you spoke long ago by the Holy Spirit through our ancestor David, your servant, saying, ‘Why were the nations so angry? Why did they waste their time with futile plans? The kings of the earth prepared for battle; the rulers gathered together against the LORD and against his Messiah.’ 27“In fact, this has happened here in this very city! For Herod Antipas, Pontius Pilate the governor, the Gentiles, and the people of Israel were all united against Jesus, your holy servant, whom you anointed. 28But everything they did was determined beforehand according to your will.
Then the disciples prayed to the Lord calling His attention to thier plight and need of power …….
(verse 29) – And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word. 30Stretch out your hand with healing power; may miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”
And then something amazing happened, that even touched the place where they where gathered in prayer! verse 31 tells us that, “After this prayer, the meeting place shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Then they preached the word of God with boldness.” God IS THE SAME GOD today. Let us pray that we will be so filled with the Holy Spirit that even buildings shake with the mighty power of God in our end-time generation as we demonstrate by miracles, healings, signs and wonders that Jesus is alive today.
